espaleklek 40th, FEB 3, 2010

Hello mga Brus,
As you all aware, espaleklek will be 40 years old on February 3, 2010. The resident members are planning a merienda get-together treat to UPLB students and friends at the Espa Tambayan at Physical Science Building parking lot on Feb 3, 2010 at 4:00pm. A motorcade around the campus is also being planned.

Details of the 40th (Ruby) Anniversary Celebration are as follows:
What: 40th Anniversary espaleklek Barndance Get-together cum Dinner
When: Saturday, 6 February 2010 at 7:00p.m.
Where: Lina's Orchard , Lopez Avenue, (back of Plaza Agapita, Batong Malake, Los Banos)
Registration Fee: Php1,000 ++ / person for alumni; & Php500/ person for resident members.
Attire: Siyempre Barndance clothes

Note:
1. Contributions and donations are most welcome to cover cost of venue (P15,000), drinks (soft and hard), raffle prizes, talent fees of 'entertainers', etc.

2. Other brus have generously committed to donate litson baka, litson Cebu, litson tupa. Wala pang contribution/ donation for raffle prizes.

3. Games are being planned during the morning (e.g. slow pitch softball) and afternoon (e.g. basketball) at Baker Hall. More details on this later.

4. Bru Al Dangilan et al.: Please provide update re: sourvenir t-shirts, jackets, and hats.

5. Brus who are willing to help in the organizing, or to contribute/ donate please contact me via email or my number (0917-887-9236).

6. Bru Jojo: Thanks a lot for your initiatives and help in soliciting commitments from generous donors.

7: Resident Members: Please attend to the games on February 6 daytime.

Hello mga Brus,

Anent to the announcement re: our 40th anniv celebration, here are some more information:

1. Food catering by the famous Kitchenette (c/o Nette Berris of Bay, Laguna).

2. We will have slide presentation re: espaleklek through the years!

3. "Special Raffle": Sr. Supt, ikaw na ba bahala?

4. Emcees: special request for Brus Jojo L. & Danny M. plus Wally R.

5. Special numbers/ presentations (e.g. song, dance, etc.) - by batch, decade, etc.

6. Fireworks daw: Puede ba ma-request ang Enchancted Kingdom to donate? Attention: Bru Butch Mamon.

7. Please bring raffle or door prizes if you wish to donate.

8. Please bring along your loved one (wife/spouse, GF, orig).

9. Please bring drinks to share.

10. Please bring also CDs of the oldies.

Here is what I've covered so far regarding FEB 6, 2010 activity.
1. Bru Marcial and Jun Labadan and Jimmy Navarro have agreed to give a roasted calf for the event
2. Butch Mamon is giving 1 roasted Lamb
3. Norman Ramos is giving 1 Cebu Lechon
4. VENUE: LINA's Garden ( owned & operated by Rene Villegas) is charging us 14500
a) Use of the venue 6 to 12 midnite
b) Lights & sounds with operator
c) Tables & Chairs
d) Karaoke
5. Venue has rooms for rent for thoseBrus who are bringing their family or otherwise

LINA's Garden Bed and Breakfast Rates( checkin time 3pm and checkout time 12 noon)

1. Solo/ Twin Sharing- P 1,500
2. 3 people sharing - P 1,800
3. Quad sharing - P 2,100
4. There are 2 rooms with 2 beds and rooms with 4 beds
5. Book early now mga Bru
6. Suggested theme is Barndance style since puro roasted ang karamuhan sa food
7. Have to meet the residents re Slowpitch game in the morning , Lunch then Basketball game in the afternoon.
